Zion National Park

Located in southern Utah, Zion National Park is arguably the prettiest park in the state.  It covers 229 mi2 (593.3 km2) of canyon country in southern Utah. The most famous and most visited part of the park is Zion Canyon, although the park includes equally Kolob Canyons to the north and countless miles of mountain wilderness. Zion Canyon is one of the most recognizable of the many geological wonders of southern Utah, with its sheer sandstone cliffs towering up to 2,500 feet (760 m) above the Virgin River.
